Workplace Deviance, Teams, Social Capital, Psychological Contracts
Dr. Cruz is an Assistant Professor of Management in the Department of Marketing and Management. His research interests focus on workplace deviance, teams, social capital, and psychological contracts. His research has been published in or is forthcoming in Human Relations and Journal of Business and Psychology. Dr. Cruz serves on the Journal of Organizational Behavior Editorial Board, has served as an ad hoc reviewer for Group & Organization Management, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, the Academy of Management Annual Meeting, Emonet Biennial Conference, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology Annual Conference, Southern Management Association Annual Meeting, Southwest Academy of Management Annual Meeting, and Prentice Hall. He has helped organize professional development workshops and has chaired conference sessions. Dr. Cruz currently serves on the Academy of Management Managerial and Organizational Cognition Division Student Services Committee, and as an Academic Advisory Board Member for Taking Sides: Clashing Views in Management and Taking Sides: Clashing Views in Human Resources Management. Dr. Cruz has taught undergraduate-level courses in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management.
