Accounting Information Systems, Internal Control Implications Associated With the Adoption of E-Commerce
Dr. TerryAnn Glandon joined the Department of Accounting as an assistant professor in Fall 2000. She earned a Bachelor of Accounting from Western Washington University, an MBA from Eastern New Mexico University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Arlington. Prior to joining the faculty at UTEP, Dr. Glandon was an assistant professor of accounting and information systems at Eastern New Mexico University. She has been recognized in Who’s Who in Teaching for 2000, 2001 and 2005. In 2003, she was named an Outstanding Accounting Educator in the State of Texas by the Texas Society of CPAs. Dr. Glandon is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Texas. She was managing partner of a public accounting firm in Washington State, specializing in systems analysis and design for small to medium-sized businesses. She has presented papers at conferences and published in The Journal of Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Advances in Management Accounting, The Journal of Applied Business Research and Review of Business Information Systems.
